Support Borders Cruzadas: Help Us Complete Phase Two and Sustain the Future While we firmly believe that money doesn’t make the world go round, we recognize its essential role in sustaining the impactful work we strive to accomplish. Independent documentary photography is a capital-intensive endeavor, and we remain committed to working outside the limitations of external publications and editorial control. By doing so, we ensure that Borders Cruzadas can expand its reach and stay true to its mission.

Since launching in December 2022, Borders Cruzadas has relied on a combination of grants and community support to fund its work. Phase One was made possible through generous contributions from ArtWorks Projects and our selection as Diane Dammeyer Fellows at Columbia College Chicago.

Now, as we move forward into Phase Two, we need to raise $250,000 to sustain another two years of reporting, complete Phase Two, and lay the foundation for the future. This funding is critical to:

Bringing Borders Cruzadas to Washington, DC, and the surrounding region, expanding our engagement with policymakers, advocates, and the public in a key center of immigration policy debates​​
